  4. New Features in Desktopper 1.3
  5.  • Displays new 32-bit full color icons on when running on Mac OS 8.5 and 8.6.

  8. Compatibility Issues
  9.  • A "memory leak" bug in Mac OS 8.0 requires some Desktopper features to be disabled. Very frequent use of the “Update Now” command under Mac OS 8.0 can cause the Finder to crash. Desktopper should not be used on a Mac OS 8.0 computer that is rarely restarted, such as a file server. This bug is not present in Mac OS 7.5, 7.6, 8.1,8.5, or 8.6. On any of these systems, Desktopper can be used continuously.

  11.  • The MacOS 8.0 and 8.1 Finder can crash when responding to certain Apple Events on some Macintosh models. This problem is rare, and usually manifests itself as a Finder crash when using Desktopper and Disk Copy 6.1.2. If you experience this Finder crash, the only workaround is to quit Desktopper (or any other applications that communicate with the Finder) when using Disk Copy 6.1.2.

  15.  •When the Finder’s desktop view is set to small icon, and the font size is greater than 12, Desktopper's icons will not be correctly aligned with the Finder’s icons.
